Born in Hungary and bonded for life with vizslas, I started Rollin' Hounds out of deep love and appreciation of this incredible breed. In Hungary, vizslas are officially recognised as a national treasure, and once you have lived with them, it is easy to see why. They have always been an important part of the family. It is no wonder they are known as 'velcro dogs'. Sensitive, smart, and full of energy, vizslas (and dogs like them) thrive on connection, consistency, and plenty of attention. At Rollin' Hounds, I offer exactly that. We head out on long woodland walks, giving dogs the chance to explore, sniff, and move at their own pace. I keep groups small, or solo, if needed, so everyone gets the attention and space they deserve. At home, they are part of the family. They can curl up on the sofa, nap in a sunny spot, or stretch out in the garden after a long walk. We play stimulating games that boost their confidence and engage their minds and noses, keeping all experiences positive.

Meet the team
My name is Nelli. Taking care of animals has always come naturally to me. From a young age, I took full responsibility for the pets in my family. A role that, along with growing up with a Vizsla, really shaped who I am today. Now, I live with two Hungarian vizsla girls, who are at the heart of everything I do, and I bring the same care and love to every dog who joins us. Heidi, my older girl, is the matriarch of the family, leading her sister on adventures and quietly running the house for all of us. With her sharp gaze and striking eyes, she sees right through you. Like most vizsla girls, she is clever, independent, and, as always, one step ahead. Bonnie may be Heidi's little sister, but when it comes to mischief, she is the undisputed ringleader. She is fierce in her resistance to anything she dislikes, like nail trims and eye drops. She is a tiny rebel with a big voice. But beneath the sass, she is all heart, dishing out the best cuddles and kisses all day long.

It is obvious how much they love and understand the dogs they are looking after and I love that Islay was able to spend the weekend with a house full of Hungarian women!
